Coccyx Injection

A coccyx injection, also known as a coccygeal injection, is a procedure used to help alleviate pain and inflammation in the area surrounding the tailbone (coccyx). This treatment involves the injection of a local anesthetic and sometimes a steroid medication into the region around the coccyx to reduce pain and swelling. Coccyx injections are commonly used to manage conditions such as coccydynia (tailbone pain), injuries to the coccyx, or inflammation in the surrounding tissues.
